A complex and seductive nose, showing layers of plums, bramble, sweet baking spice, and a slight floral lift. The palate is rich with dark berry fruits, dried herbs and spice. Fine velvety tannins lead towards a bright and persistent finish.
Every season there is inevitably one or two parcels of fruit that stand head and shoulders above the rest in the vineyard. With the use of hand sorting, gentle handling, wild ferment, inclusion of whole bunches, extended skin contact and 15 months maturation in French oak, our limited production Super Nanny allows these select parcels to tell the story of their own unique place of origin with absolute clarity.
