CHEEKY WESTY, our West Coast IPA inspired by the beautiful California IPAs Green Cheek Beer Co are producing in the US. We believe that Evan and the team are brewing some of the best examples of modern WC IPAs and it's been a pleasure collaborating with them on our Cheeky Westy last summer. We enjoyed it so much that we had to brew it again! This Cali IPA is super pale, super crisp, bitter and well hopped!!! Close your eyes, take a sip, and just pretend you're in sunny California for a few minutes. Trust us, summer is here (just don’t look up).

West Coast IPAs emerged in the craft beer scene during the 1960s and gained popularity through the 70s and 80s. Anchor Brewing's Liberty Ale, brewed in 1975, is often credited as one of the first examples of this style. The use of American hops and English brewing techniques led to the creation of this distinct and influential beer style, now modernised by exciting new brewing techniques and hop combinations.
