Family-owned, the Cossy Champagne House is headed by Sophie Cossy, who took over the running of the estate at the age of 26, following her father’s passing.
Sophie Cossy is passionate about producing sophisticated champagnes which offer new tasting experiences.
Éclat Premier Cru Brut by Cossy comprises a blend of Chardonnay (33%), Pinot Noir (33%) and Pinot Meunier (34%).
The tasting
Colour
This champagne is a beautiful golden yellow colour. The effervescence is fine and delicate.
Nose
The champagne harmoniously combines freshness and maturity. The bouquet opens with delicious fragrances of ripe fruit, honey and bread crust. When aired, fruity notes mingle with a complex frank aromatic expression.
Palate
A supple attack precedes a rich and refined palate. The palate is seductive due to its supple attack, its freshness and its balance. Throughout the tasting experience, fullness and freshness are harmoniously combined, leading to a beautiful finish.
